On October 9th, the NJIT Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Chapter participated in the Reverse Career Fair, a unique event where student organizations got to meet directly with recruiters from major employers. The ACM is an international organization of professionals in computing science and information technologies that has a very active student chapter at NJIT, located in Room 4402 of the Guttenberg Information Technologies Center. Throughout the two hour event, many companies, including TIAA-CREF and UPS, met with the ACM. They discussed establishing direct internship programs with the ACM and the College of Computing Sciences. Contact information for the company recruiters that met with the ACM were made available to ACM members during their meeting on October 11th. The ACM maintains many close professional connections with companies in the area such as Prudential and Google. The NJIT ACM is currently expanding its network of professional contacts and is one of the most enriching clubs for NJIT students to participate in.
