Once the bonfires started flaring, they drew in crowds from all directions, enticed by the prospect of warmth and smores on a chilly night. Attendees could bring in gear from other colleges or high schools to switch for NJIT apparel. The fate of the unwanted clothing? Consignment to the flames.
