Humans of NJIT: I am not what you see

Fariha Tasneem

Alemnehe Lemma

“Students, Faculty, they see me, but they really don’t. What I portray through my exterior is not what resembles me through my interior. The struggle I went through to get to where I am today wasn’t easy, but I refuse to wear my heart out for everyone to see these. My strongest motivation is not of my family nor my friends, but the competition to achieve greater, than the students I should’ve graduated with in hand. I continuously thank NJIT for allowing me to continue my studies at this Highlander of a University and will never forget where I came from when I finally become successful. This semester I am working on my senior project and I am agitated and stressed, but you will never know (unless you’re reading this), because you don’t see me under distress. I’m just living my life like it’s golden.”
