The Young Alumni Club (YAC) is an active cohort of the Alumni Association of NJIT. We are a fully-functioning organization of volunteers, from various professional backgrounds, who have graduated within the last 10 years.

Our mission as a cohort is to provide a gateway for NJIT graduates to transition into the Alumni community and foster and maintain a relationship with each alumnus and the current student body through the planning, sponsorship and execution of various programs.

Our programs are a mixture of social gatherings, family-oriented events, networking sessions, as well as educational workshops. Some of our programs include happy hours, beer and wine tastings, bowling nights and signature events such as the Fall Harvest Festival, the NJIT Day Chili Cook-off, the Senior Class Party and the Alumni Weekend.

As an active part of the NJIT community, the Young Alumni Club aims to serve as a resource for you, the student body, through our weekly column YAC’s Got Your Back. We will provide information about upcoming events, internship and job opportunities, club member profiles as well as insights on developing and furthering your professional career. Be sure to check out our weekly column!

Got a question or a suggestion for YAC? Send us an email at YAC.njit@gmail.com. We’d love to hear from you.
