Welcome back to a brand new semester and I hope all of you were able to find and experience enjoyment during the holiday break. As we embark on a new semester, the Department of Public Safety is committed to continuing to foster and strengthen community relations between students, faculty and staff alike through a continuous exchange of dialogue. Proactive solutions and resolutions are the cornerstones of Community Policing whereby mutual collaboration provides the catalyst for long lasting partnerships to address community concerns. We look forward to a successful and productive Spring Semester filled with enthusiasm, esprit de corps and an exchange of ideas coupled with creative methods to ensure the safety and well- being of the university community. Remember to always be aware of your surroundings and utilize all resources available including the escort service provided by officers. On behalf of the Department of Public Safety, I want to again extend my sincerest gratitude to all of you for the unwavering support and wish you the best for a great semester.
