Islamic Awareness Week (Day 3) — October 16, 2024
The NJIT MSA hosted its biggest event of the semester — a week-long series of programs, in celebration of Islamic Awareness Week, featuring speakers, food, and a good time with friends. Wednesday’s event featured a lecture by Dr. Mohammad Qatanani and his wife, Sister Sumaiya Abuhnoud who are respected educators in the local Muslim community.
Prosthetics Club Paint ‘n Sip — October 16, 2024
The NJIT Prosthetics Club hosted an event to help students relax and socialize. Students were able to paint on canvases or tote bags while enjoying a variety of beverages!
Raas Leela Garba Night — October 16, 2024
Hindu YUVA, AIS, and SANSKAR hosted their annual Raas Leela Garba Night, where students were able to enjoy dancing, food, and festivities.
Spike the Habit — October 17, 2024
NJIT Volleyball alongside the Campus Health and Wellness Services hosted a volleyball tournament on the WEC Practice Court to raise awareness about creating a tobacco-free environment on campus.
Shreya’s Birthday — October 18, 2024
Better late than never! Due to the previous week’s meeting being cancelled, The Vector belatedly celebrated our awesome EIC this past Friday with red-velvet cake (and pizza as per usual).
