On Wednesday, September 24th, the NJIT Police Department interacted with NJIT students on the green during the department’s 2nd Annual Meet and Greet. Officers served food and challenged students to Theta Chi’s life sized Jenga game while Psi Upsilon provided music for the event. Also present was the Resident Hall Association, serving students cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn.
Students attending the event participated in Police Bingo by asking the officers various questions. The students who completed a row or a column on the bingo card won gift cards to Subway and the NJIT Bookstore. The grand bingo prize winner won a tablet by being the first to successfully complete the entire bingo card.
NJIT Police Department thanks RHA, Student Senate, Theta Chi, Psi Upsilon, the Campus Center, Athletics Department, and the HERO Campaign for assisting at the event.
NJIT Police Department is seeking students or organizations to assist with the upcoming Cops in Crosswalks event on October 6th and October 15th. Cops in Crosswalks enforce pedestrian crosswalk rules and regulations for vehicles and pedestrians.
