Jabarry Goodridge has been selected as NJIT Male Athlete of the Week for his performance during the Highlanders 3-1 win against Barton College.

Goodridge, playing his third college match, led all hitters with 11 kills and had just 3 errors in 26 swings (.308).

He also contributed four digs, two service aces and one block assist totaling 13.5 points.

Margaret Christian, Fencing

Senior, Biomedical Engineering

Height: 6’2″

Hometown: Bridgetown, Barbados

Margaret Christian has been selected as NJIT Female Athlete of the Week for her performance during the 2014 Eric Sollee Invitational hosted by Brandeis University.

Christian was the top performer for the NJIT women, recording an 8-10 mark on the saber strip.  The senior went 3-0 against Haverford while earning a 2-1 victory past Boston College and Stevens.

NJIT will return to action on February 16 when the Highlanders host the NJIT Invitational at the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center.

2012-13: 1-8 record (11%) on the sabre strip.
